Description

Six-time All-Star, National League MVP (1935), Hall of Famer Gabby Hartnett was considered the greatest catcher of all-time until the career of Johnny Bench. This store model bat and glove Illustrate the popularity of “Old Tomato Face” during the 1930s.

The 34-inch store model bat was well-used including a crack in the handle meticulously repaired with three screws. Clearly the bat was used after the repair. Gabby Hartnett's facsimile signature can be seen on the upper barrel. The manufacturer label is faded but “Autograph Model” can be discerned.

The store model glove is in Good to Very Good condition with “Lee ‘Gabby’ Hartnett Jr,” facsimile signature trademark, as well as “Junior Model Genuine Cowhide” stamps on the inside.

The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
