Signature seekers discover a prime target, with this 1930s multi-signed autograph album. Located throughout are (70+) generally pleasing signatures, including (12) Hall of Famers, and many noteworthy stars, along with some obscure seldom seen examples. All of the identified subjects are deceased, some as far back as the 1940s-1950s. An even dozen of the subjects were members of the New York Yankees formidable 1936-1939 dynasty that won four consecutive World Series championships, including Lou Gehrig, "Lefty" Gomez, "Red" Ruffing, Joe Gordon, Tom Henrich, Bill Dickey, Johnny Murphy, Joe McCarthy, Steve Sundra, "Red" Rolfe, "Babe" Dahlgren, and Don Heffner. Also in the mix are legends Ted Williams, "Lefty" Grove, Mickey Cochrane, and Harry Heilmann (X2). Though the back cover is gone, this antique string-bound album is otherwise sturdy.
The list of signers as they appear front to back is as follows: "Lefty" Gomez (HOF, d.1989), Bill Dickey enhanced signature (HOF, d.1993), Joe Gordon (HOF, d.1978), "Red" Ruffing (HOF, d.1986), Paul Schreiber (d.1982), Joe Grace (d.1969), Johnny Murphy (d.1970), boxing promoter James J.
