Description

Mickey Mantle provides his personal views on his glorious career, with this signed 1991 “The Life of a Legend” art print. Numbered “21/2,401”, this limited-edition print is professionally framed and matted to overall dimensions of 31” x 25”. Artist Terrence Fogarty has created a collage featuring scenes from Mantle’s career with the New York Yankees, including his 1951 Bowman, and 1952 Topps rookie cards. Each image is accompanied by a quote from Mantle, citing relationships, thrills, dates, and accomplishments from his days in pinstripes. Mantle has signed on the bottom border, between the title and the limited-edition numbering, and his gold paint pen signature is both flawless and potent.
