“Bo knows” how much you’ve wanted one of his jerseys, so he kept this one nice and fresh for you. Presented is “Bo” Jackson’s 1991 Chicago White Sox team-issued, game-ready jersey. A star in the NFL and MLB, Jackson suffered a hip injury during a Los Angeles Raiders playoff victory in January of 1991, and he was released by the Kansas City Royals during spring training. The White Sox signed him, and he played 23 games in 1991. Only 13 were Sox home games, where this jersey would have been worn. The accompanying LOA notes “this jersey displays extremely light to no wear,” which is consistent with the small window of opportunity for game use. A few small spots of soiling are detected, with minimal impact on the like-new quality of this bright Rawlings size “48” pinstriped jersey. Extending from the factory label on the left-front tail are a “Set 1 1991” tag for uniform set number and season, and “T” for tapered cut. Patches are the White Sox logo on the left breast, number 8 on the right breast, a larger 8 on the back, and a 1991 Comiskey Park Inaugural Year commemorative on the left sleeve.
