Description

An in-depth, long ago look at the Baseball Hall of Fame is had with this multi-signed 1961 National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum program. It's also very nice that this vintage publication hosts a grand total of 42 signatures, penned by illustrious subjects. These high-profile autographs are generally pleasing, and the program remains in decent condition, with deference to a partially detached centerfold. The lineup of signers is truly impressive, with many of the game's greatest Hall of Fame alumni who were still alive in 1961 having contributed a signature. The great Ty Cobb, who passed away in 1961, has signed twice as did George Sisler. The man who set the gold standard for the Americana art genre, Norman Rockwell, is also represented.
