Description

20th Century boxing greats are brought together, with this selection of (7) signed checks. Headliner Nat Fleischer (d.1972) is best known for founding The Ring magazine in 1922. Joining Fleischer in this offering are a quintet of popular champions, and a famous 1950s wife, who returned to prominence in 1981 after appearing in a Playboy spread at the age of 51. These vintage checks show light to moderate wear unless noted, and the signatures are all pleasing examples.
