Description

A youthful Muhammad Ali does his best chest-thumping Tarzan impression, in this oversized 24” x 30” photograph. The scene was the 5th Street Gym in Miami, where Ali met The Beatles just a week before he would become heavyweight champ for the first time, by stopping Sonny Liston on 2/25/64. This comical scene sees Ali hamming it up in the ring, while the “Fab Four” are down on the canvas praying for mercy. Ali has signed in blue with (“7.5”) strength, in nice contrast over his white boxing trunks. This smile-inducing presentation is massively framed to overall dimensions of 38” x 32”, awaiting some prime wall space.
