Lot # 1317: 1960s-1980s New York Mets Pennant Group (5)

This collection of five pennants starts with an early New York Mets pennant featuring Mr. Met, Shea Stadium and the Statue of Liberty (VG), a blue on orange New York Mets Pennant featuring Mr. Met (EX), and a maroon New York Mets pennant featuring a ball player against the NY skyline and bridge (EX).

Also included are (2) Tidewater Tides “International League Champions 1987” pennants in Excellent or better condition with a scroll of players on the team including future Met’s star, Dwight Gooden. This lot comes from the estate of Mike Cubbage, who is also on the scroll because he was the manager of the team that won the championship.
