Description

What better way to commemorate two of the Baltimore Orioles greatest teams, the memorable World Champions of 1966 and 1970, than these (2) Near Mint Black Bats. Each Louisville Slugger is embossed in gold, the 1966 bat reads “Baltimore Orioles World Champions 1966” with facsimile signatures of Sam Bowens, Frank Robinson and Boog Powell adjacent. The rest of the bat is adorned with the names of the rest of the team, either facsimile signatures or capital block letters. Players such as Jim Palmer, Brooks Robinson, Dave McNally, Louise Aparicio, Steve Barber, Dave Johnson, Curt Blefary and Hank Bauer. The 1970 bat has the inscription “Baltimore Orioles World Champions 1970” with Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson facsimile, signatures adjacent, the same style as the other bat. Names include Earl Weaver, Dave McNally, Jim Palmer, Paul Blair, Dave Johnson, and Bob Grich. The Orioles were truly one of the best teams from the time period.
