Lot # 1284: Mark McGwire Signed Limited-Edition Bat with "A.L. Home Run King 87" Inscription - JSA

While the fast food sandwich is admittedly a tasty burger, we prefer this "Big Mac". Served up sizzling hot, is this Mark McGwire signed and inscribed Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick McGwire Professional Model bat. With deference to a light smudge on the lower handle area, this handsome bat presents in like-new state, with an Oakland Athletics green accent band on the upper handle. McGwire has signed boldly on the barrel with the inscription "A.L. Home Run King 87", a feat he achieved during his Rookie of the Year campaign with the A's, when he belted 49 homers. Located below the proud inscription is the handwritten limited-edition numbering "46 of 289".
