Description

The only person enshrined in both the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame is presented for your collecting pleasure, with the offering of this Cal Hubbard signed 8" x 10" photograph. While still in the prime of his NFL career, Hubbard (d.1977) began umpiring in minor league baseball circa 1928. Around the time he retired from gridiron play in 1936, he had been called up for service as an MLB umpire, a job he excelled at. Seen here in his umpire uniform, Hubbard has signed potently at bottom of this handsome matte print photograph, and he has included the greeting "Best Wishes".
