Issued in honor of the first convening of Congress in the Capitol building, this stately set is comprised with a $5 gold coin, a $1 silver coin, and a clad half dollar coin. Weighing in at 8.359 grams, the $5 coin has a composition of 90% gold and 10% alloy. The $1 coin weighs 26.730 grams and has a 90% silver, 10% copper composition. The half dollar coin weighs 11.340 grams and is made up with 92% copper and 8% nickel. Housed in the original U.S. Mint presentation case with COA, this gleaming set presents in pristine state.
