Lot # 2122: 1976 Royal Canadian Mint Montreal Olympics Sterling Silver Coin Near Complete Set (27/28) in Co-Sponsorship Recognition Chest

The 1976 Montreal Summer Olympic Games are celebrated in grand fashion with this Royal Canadian Mint sterling silver coin near-complete set of 27 of 28. These pristine coins are housed in a chest of sliding trays, labeled "Awarded in Grateful Recognition of Your Co-Sponsorship of the Games of the XXI Olympiad." Seven trays were designed to hold four coins each, with two $10 coins and two $5 coins per tray, for a total of twenty-eight coins. The one absent coin is one of the $10 denomination type.
