Description

This 7 ½ x 9 ½ photo of the 1899 Boston Beaneaters is a later-issued 1930s example that was made off a duplicate negative featuring an image originally taken in 1899. The photo, with a 3-inch piece missing from the bottom right corner, has writing on the back listing the players in the photo, as well as a stamp “Property of The Sporting News.”

Team members included in the photo are Vic Willis, Hugh Duffy, Kid Nichols, Chick Stahl, Jimmy Collins and Fred Tenney.
