Baseball historians go long for this 1884 Wright & Ditson's Base Ball guide. This scarce antique guide focuses largely on the Union Association, a one-year league that existed only in 1884. Along with the UA season schedule, this ancient volume is also printed with schedules for the American Association, and a number of prominent college teams. A fantastic multi-player illustration decorates the front cover, and page 5 sports an engraving style image of Hall of Famer George Wright. Though the back cover suffers 25% loss, this tough guidebook has otherwise held up fairly well, to present Gd details with deference to the back cover condition.
