The Dodgers enjoyed great success during the period these souvenirs were issued, making seven trips to the World Series between 1941-1956, before heading west to Los Angeles after the 1957 season. Facing their crosstown rivals the New York Yankees on all seven occasions, the Dodgers hit the high point of their Brooklyn tenure in 1955, when the "Boys of Summer" finally delivered their long-suffering fans a World Series championship. Outstanding mementos of this golden era, these vintage souvenirs are attractive across the board, ranging Vg to Ex-Mt.
