Description

A classic cover by Steve Ditko fronts this 9/64 Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man #16 issue. One of Spidey's earliest adventures, this Silver Age treasure also marks the first crossover appearance for Daredevil. With your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and the Devil of Hell's Kitchen patrolling the same turf in Manhattan, it was inevitable that these front rank heroes should meet. Comic book historians will instantly recognize this prized book as a very early appearance for DD, as he is seen in his original yellow and red costume, that was changed to all red several months after this ASM comic hit the newsstands. CGC has seen fit to assign a respectable 4.5, Off-White to White Pages grade for this nicely preserved comic. Label notes are "Stan Lee story, Steve Ditko cover and art. 1st Daredevil crossover. 2nd appearance of the Ringmaster and the Circus of Crime.".
