Batman got his start in this venerable title way back in 1939, first appearing in Detective Comics issue #27. On top of this famous introduction, the National Publications line got its name from this same title, with DC derived from Detective Comics. This appealing bundle reports in generally pleasing condition, ranging 83% Vg-Fn 5.0 to Fn-Vf 7.0, 17% Gd 2.0 to Vg 4.0.
