The biggest hit from Marvel Comics' memorable 1970s Giant-Size series takes the stage with the presentation of this Summer 1975 Giant-Size X-Men #1 issue. The original X-Men series went dormant after issue #66, with Marvel dreadfully resorting to reprinted tales for issues #67 to #93. Widely sought after as one of the most important key issues of the Bronze Age, this Giant-Size comic paved the way for a revival of the original title by introducing a new X-Men team. Making their first appearance in this coveted comic are Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Thunderbird. Joining them in this historic issue are lone original X-Men holdover Cyclops and newcomer Wolverine. This was Wolverine's second full appearance, following the Incredible Hulk #181, and also his first appearance as a member of the X-Men team. A favorite of key issue collectors, this prized comic is an absolutely essential inclusion for a representative X-Men collection. CGC has just returned this well-preserved example, with a pleasing grade of 7.5, Off-White to White Pages. Label notes are "Len Wein story, Dave Cockrum art, Gil Kane & Dave Cockrum cover. 1st appearance of the new X-Men, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus & Thunderbird. 2nd full appearance of Wolverine."
