Description

Charles Arthur Vance got his nickname “Dazzy” for the “dazzling” speed of his pitches. He's the only pitcher to lead the National League in strikeouts for seven consecutive seasons. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1955. This 4 ½ x 6 album page is signed “With kindest regards - A.C. “Dazzy” Vance” (“9-10”) in steel-tip fountain pen.
