A legend is recalled, with the offering of this "Satchel" Paige signed yellow Hall of Fame plaque postcard. One of the game's most colorful and entertaining figures, Paige was a genuine crowd-pleaser who earned Hall of Fame recognition in 1971. Paige's enshrinement in the Cooperstown museum was a historic event, making him the first Negro League star honored with a bronze Hall of Fame plaque. Paige's plaque is faithfully depicted on the front of the offered postcard, which he has signed distinctly at top left.
