Description

Hopes were running high in Charm City, when this 1960 Baltimore Orioles phantom World Series press pin was crafted. Even though they posted a decent record of 89-65, the O's had to settle for second place, as the talent-rich New York Yankees finished first yet again. Reporting in Ex condition, this tough Orioles phantom is a seldom seen type that positions as pretty darn scarce. The design is a delight, with the joyous Bird mascot wearing a gold crown, as he looms over Memorial Stadium and the legend "First World Series". Baltimore fans would have to wait until the 1966 Fall Classic for this favorable omen to come true.
