A couple of baseball's very best make a strong impression, with these (2) 1969 Major League Player pins and matching proof templates (2). Sized with a 3-1/2" diameter, the pins feature legendary New York Yankees Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle. The Ruth template measures 4-1/2" x 5-1/8", with some extra white space at top, while the Mantle template measures 4-1/4" x 4-1/2". Adorned with photographs of the Yankees greats, the pins average Nm condition, with bold colors and just minor surface wear, including a raised pinpoint bump on the Ruth pin at right. The crisp, clean templates are even more pleasing, averaging Nm+ quality.
