Popular icons are spotlighted, with the presentation of this trio of 1958-1963 Hartland baseball statues. Immensely popular with modern day collectors, these 7" figures are plastic renderings of revered Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Don Drysdale and Nellie Fox. The Mantle statue comes with an original Hartland bat, while the Drysdale and Fox statues are formatted with throwing poses. It's easy to see why these vintage figures are so popular. The subjects are all-time greats, and the degree of realism is outstanding, from Mantle's determined stance to Drysdale's snarl and Fox's protruding left cheek packed with chaw.
All three statues stand freely, though there is adhesive residue on the soles of Fox's shoes. Paint details remain strong for all, and the uniforms range from off-white to light-cream. The Mantle figure has a couple of unobtrusive divots on the right wrist and moderate wear on the bat, the Drysdale figure has a small blemish on the right shoulder, and the Fox figure has a diagonal crack across the jersey front. Despite these conditions, all three figures present handsomely, with abundant display appeal.
