Travel back ninety years or so to the Joe Louis versus Max Baer fight, with this 1935 Remote View full ticket. A Buick auto dealers' promotional giveaway, this vintage ticket entitled the bearer to a "Fireside Seat" for the N.B.C. Red and Blue Network broadcast of this famous fight, which took place at Yankee Stadium on September 24, 1935. At the time, Louis was an up-and-comer who would go on to a record reign as heavyweight champion, while Baer had just lost his championship to "Cinderella Man" James J. Braddock three months earlier. Louis stopped Baer in the 4th round, knocking him down for the first time in his career. PSA has encapsulated this nicely preserved ticket with a grade of VG-EX 4. PSA's Population Report lists twelve examples of this full ticket type, and this one is "1 of 2" at the VG-EX 4 level, with none higher.
