A politically incorrect comic book surfaces, with the offering of this Fall 1943 Timely Comics Kid Komics #3 issue. In a historically significant sign of the wild pre-code days, the front cover of this WWII era comic stereotypes the tough kid Knuckles, brainy kid Jeff, fat kid Tubby, and black kid Whitewash, in a fashion that is considered way out of bounds in modern times. These juvenile heroes are joined in their battle against Japanese forces by Young Allies stars Bucky and Toro, in a rescue scene that sees Knuckles smashing a screaming blue demon with a spiked ball chain mace. CGC has encapsulated this ancient comic in a Restored Grade holder, with an Apparent 1.8, Slightly Brittle Pages designation. To date, CGC has graded just 33 examples of this issue in all types of holders, indicating just has scarce this comic is. Label notes are "Top edge of front cover trimmed. Alex Schomburg cover, George Klein and Harry Douglas art. Vision story.".
