Description

Mayhem is the order of the day, with this Summer 1943 Timely Comics Kid Komics #2 issue. Machine gun blasts, hand-to-hand combat, bondage, a threatened beheading, stereotyped Japanese soldiers, and colorful costumed heroes are all part of the melee created by cover artist Alex Schomburg. Also appearing in this issue are the Young Allies, who are arrayed across the bottom of the cover. CGC has encapsulated this Golden Age comic in a restored grade holder, with an Apparent 1.0, Cream to Off-White Pages designation. Counting all holder types, CGC has graded just 35 examples of this WWII era issue, indicating a very small supply of surviving copies. Label notes are "1/3rd of page 22 & 23 missing.
