Description

One of the architects of the American Revolution is honored, with this 1948-1963 Franklin half dollar coin bundle (90). Struck with a 90% silver composition, these fifty cent coins represent significant value, given the record highs precious metals have achieved over the past year. Condition ranges 35% Xf to Bu, 65% Vg to Vf. The Benjamin Franklin half dollar series had a relatively short run of just sixteen years, as the type was hurriedly replaced in 1964 by the Kennedy half dollar in remembrance of assassinated president John F. Kennedy.
