Hall of Fame Baseball Commissioner, Albert Benjamin “Happy” Chandler was also a US Senator and Governor of Kentucky. Each of these (45) personal checks from 1978 are drawn on the United Bank and Trust Company, Versailles, KY, are signed boldly in black “A.B. Chandler” (“9-10”).
