Here's a "Little Poison" you'll be happy to take. Served up is a bundle of (99) Lloyd Waner signed checks. A disciplined contact hitter, the Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer batted .316 lifetime. Waner proved he was as good with the pen, as he was with the bat, in the signing of these checks, which bear endorsements ranging from "8" to "10" strength. Drawn on the Citizens National Bank of Oklahoma City, these payment vouchers are generally crisp examples, dating from 1973-1975. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
