Extraordinary 1971 Milk Duds Thurman Munson that crossed paths with the beloved New York Yankees captain in the few years between the card's release and Munson's sudden June 1979 death. The expertly placed blue ballpoint pen endorsement spans the width of the neatly hand cut candy card (presents EX to EX-MT) that was extracted from a larger box. While a smattering of signed Topps Munson cards have been occasionally offered in hobby circles, this one-of-a-kind early career Munson oddball autograph is the only known and truly in a class of its own!
