Lot # 888: Oversized Cooperstown Postcard Signed by (22) with Ted Williams, Jean Yawkey & Bart Giamatti

From the beautiful shores of Otsego Lake in upstate New York, comes this multi-signed postcard. A total of (22) signatures are located on the back of this oversized card, which measures 8-3/4 x 5-1/2". Seldom have we been able to offer an item signed by so many of baseball"s top executives, and given the inclusion of Bart Giamatti and Fay Vincent, the autographs were likely applied sometime between 1986-1989. In addition to a good number of baseball"s bigwigs and their spouses, this unique assembly includes legendary slugger Ted Williams and Hall of Fame president Ed Stack. Though moderate wear is evident, the card remains solid, with a glossy photo of Cooperstown and Lake Otsego on the front. Signature strength is very pleasing, with an average of ("9-10").
