Description

"The Killer" returns, with this Harmon Killebrew signature and photograph collection (6). One of the most feared power hitters of his day, Killebrew belted a whopping 573 career home runs, to earn a plaque in the Hall of Fame.

Headlining this selection are:

1955 rookie season 8" x 10" photograph by Don Wingfield. This dynamic image sees the young Killebrew going airborne to make a play. This vintage photograph rates as Gd due to a vertical fold crease located left of center, and moderate wear on the perimeter. Despite these conditions, this photo remains reasonably attractive, with strong gloss, a clean surface, and a crystal-clear image.

Rookie era cut signature measuring approximately 3" x 1". This cut has an irregular shape, and there's a tape stain over the first few letters of the name Harmon, though the signature still projects boldly.

The balance are:

August 10, 1991 Home Run Derby Re-Enactment commemorative program signed on the front cover by Killebrew and "Rocky" Colavito, and on the centerfold by Jim Lonborg, Walt Dropo and Gene Conley. All signatures are bold.

May 17, 1984 House of Representative Joint Resolution to designate June 13, 1984 as "Harmon Killebrew Day", following his election to the Hall of Fame. The resolution passed, and Killebrew has signed boldly across the top.

4" x 5" Team-issued Killebrew photograph with facsimile signature Nm.

8-1/2" x 11" Color art print shows Nm details with deference to a small gouge at top-left.

Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
