Lot # 757: 1940s-1970s New York Yankees Alumni Multi-Signed 1995 Sports Illustrated Issue with Mickey Mantle Cover

Hail, hail, the gang's all here, with this 1940s-1970s New York Yankees alumni multi-signed Sports Illustrated magazine. Fronting this August 21, 1995 SI issue, is a photograph of a smiling Mickey Mantle, taking during his younger days. Mantle had passed away a week before this issue hit the newsstands, and a well-deserved tribute is found within. A grand total of (30) Yankees alumni, many of whom were Mantle's teammates, have decorated the front cover with sharp signatures.
