Lot # 871: Mickey Mantle Single-Signed Photograph

New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle looks the part of a powerful and intimidating slugger that he played so well, in this single-signed photograph. The scene captured in this crisp 8” x 10” color photograph appears to be a Spring Training site, with the switch-hitting slugger batting from the left side of the plate. Mantle has signed boldly at bottom, by means of a blue felt-tip pen.
