Superb original photograph featuring three members of the 1940-1941 Baltimore Elite Giants posed on the field in front of the stands. The three players (Goose Curry, Charlie Biot, and Bill Hoskins) each are in full uniform and posed leaning on bats. There are last-name identifiers written in ink on each player's leg. Measuring just shy of 8 x 10 inches, the photograph displays exceptional clarity and detail and remains in Very Good condition overall, with a faint diagonal crease passing through the center along with light creasing in the top right corner. A photographer's credit appears in the lower right (J.E. Miller) and a small pencil notation is present on the blank reverse. An outstanding original photograph from this important Negro League team!
