Blast off for a great collecting adventure, when you link up with this 2/51 Fawcett Publications Captain Video #1 issue. Spun off from the 1949-1955 DuMont Television Network nightly series “Captain Video and His Video Rangers”, this vintage key issue is an early example of TV heroes making the leap to print. This Sci-Fi classic is fronted with a compelling photograph cover of the Captain and his teenage sidekick Video Ranger. CGC has supplied a grade of 7.5, Off-White to White Pages for this Golden Age treasure, a very respectable grade for a comic dating from so long ago. Label notes are “George Evans & Martin Thall art. Al Hodge & Don Hastings photo cover & photo back cover. Based on DuMont Network TV series.".
