Only Graded Example! Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. "Windy City" historians will undoubtedly treasure the offered 1906 PC798-D066 Chicago White Sox vs. Chicago Cubs postcard. Published by America Press of Chicago while referencing Waukesha Water Co. of Wisconsin, this designation entitled "Hello Old Sox!" represents the first World Series pitting two franchises from the same city and the only meeting between the Chicagoland teams (the White Sox emerged victorious 4-2 games to capture the 1906 Fall Classic). This near impossible correspondence piece has survived the past 129 years in fine condition. The antique illustration picturing the Cubs mascot (National League) shaking the trunk of the White Sox elephant (American League) is both amusing and eye-catching. Despite creasing along the upper left corner (when viewed horizontally), limited perimeter wear and scant surface soiling, this museum quality piece has definitely withstood the test of time! The reverse black text referencing the Waukesha company's attributes is problem-free and absent of any writing or postmark.
