From the final MLB season of the nineteenth century arrives this scarce 1899 New York Giants at Boston Beaneaters scorecard. Played at South End Grounds in Boston, this neatly pencil marked artifact records four Hall of Famers in George Davis, Hugh Duffy, Billy Hamilton and winning pitcher Charles (Kid) Nichols. Also documented is former Black Sox manager William (Kid) Gleason during his playing days. Arrives unfolded with overall 9-5/8 x 7-3/8" dimensions. The front cover is date notated in pencil along the upper edge and the left boundary is tape reinforced. The lower left corner of the back cover is no longer present. Despite expected wear inherent with a 126-year-old publication, the overall presentation is eye-catching with bold black text event details.
