Description

Canadian American businessman, Jack Kent Cooke, owned teams in the NFL, the NBA, the NHL and United Soccer. Under his ownership, the Los Angeles Lakers won the 1972 NBA Finals, while the Washington Redskins won Super Bowls in 1980, 1987 and 1991.

These five items signed by the executive include:

1) 7 ½ x10 ½ type-written letter on “Teleprompter Corporation” stationary dated August 31, 1979 (with folds),

2) 7 ½ x10 ½ type-written letter with Fallingbrook, Upperville, VA return address dated February 3rd, 1981.

Both letters have Full dark signatures (“9-10”).
