Description

Baseball's greatest Native American pitcher pays a call, with this "Chief" Bender signed index card. An ace for Connie Mack's magnificent Philadelphia Athletics dynasty from 1903-1914, Bender earned his place in the Hall of Fame thanks to a stellar career record of 212-127, and three World Series championships. Bender's demise occurred more than seventy years, on May 22, 1954. His long ago departure make his signature a prized target, and this light-cream index card hosts a very satisfying example. PSA/DNA has encapsulated this signed 3" x 5" card, with an Authentic Autograph designation.
