Many consider Sandy Koufax the best pitcher of the 1960s, and that's saying a lot, considering the competition for the honor included teammate Don Drysdale, and Bob Gibson, Warren Spahn, "Whitey" Ford, Juan Marichal, Jim Bunning, Jim Kaat, and plenty of other big winners. As he did so often for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Koufax rose to the occasion in signing the offered photograph, by providing a potent and stylish Dodgers' blue signature.
