“A Tribute to Clark Griffith - Washington vs. New York - Tuesday, August 17th, 1948” proclaims the cover of this program to the event signed by (27) members of the Washington Senators with the image of their Hall of Fame executive, Clark Griffith, in the background.

The first page states, “Baseball rightly claims to be America's national game and Washington’s Clark Griffith, who came up from the grime of the playing field to walk with Presidents, is the symbol of baseball's progress.”

The program is unscored and is in Excellent condition. The signatures average (“8-9”).They include Hall of Famers Early Wynn and Rick Ferrell, as well as key signatures such as Mickey Vernon, Eddie Yost, Walt Masterson and Al Evans.
