Description

1996 saw the first time two MLB teams, the New York Mets and the San Diego Padres, came to play in Mexico. The Mexican fans were especially excited for the return of Fernando Valenzuela. The Padres won the series, taking two out of three games.

Each team has signed an ONL/Coleman ball with “La Primera Seri - Monterrey, Mexico” stamp and colorful red and green “Mexican flag” stitches, (64) signatures in all.
