Description

Set your sights on a tough signature, when you take aim at this Curt Flood single-signed baseball. Though he was one of the brightest stars of the 1960s, Flood is best remembered for cutting his career short when he refused to accept a trade in a deal for Hall of Famer Dick Allen. Instead of reporting to Philadelphia, Flood challenged baseball's reserve clause in 1970, and after he lost his case, he was blackballed from the game. Flood has covered a large area of the sweet spot on this ONL/Giamatti baseball, and he has included a personalization. As the personalization is located on the ball's west panel, Flood's prominent signature can be displayed so as the personalization is not seen fom a straight on sight line. PSA/DNA has graded Flood's signature ("7"), and the ball is also rated ("7").
