This series is seldom offered so close to completion, and this near-complete set really does represent a nice opportunity for those who would prefer to avoid a lengthy hunt or don't have much access to coin shows. Graced with an appealing design, this coin type sees Lady Liberty walking through a gate in a wall on the obverse, as she gazes east to the war raging in Europe, while the reverse is adorned with a proud Bald Eagle in flight.

Key dates are: 1919-D (VG), 1919-S (FN), 1920-D (FN), 1921 (FN+, nice full date), 1927-S (GD+).
