Description

This bean town bonanza of (13) pennants includes (11) Boston Red Sox pennants (nine full size and two 3/4 size), with a Boston Patriots pennant and a Boston Celtics pennant for good measure. The pennants average VG-RX unless noted.

The Boston Red Sox pennants include (8) of various themes and colors, some feature Fenway Park, some have ballplayers, some just the red socks.

The highlight is a 1975 Boston Red Sox American League Champions World Series pennant featuring a scroll of prominent player’s names including Rice, Carbo, Evans, Fisk, Petrocelli, Wise, and of course, Carl Yastrzemski (EX-MT).

The (2) three-quarter size pennants include a red on white “Go Go Go Go Boston Red Sox” pennant, and a “Boston Red Sox Ted Williams” pennant (GVG) featuring the swinging Splendid Splinter.

The green Boston Celtics pennant features the leprechaun (EX-MT), while the white on red Boston Patriots pennant is slightly faded.

What kid didn’t have a pennant on their wall? A simple felt pennant was the classic way for a fan to support their team. The pennants in this group come from the estate of Mike Cubbage.

The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
