Lot # 1662: 2005 Muhammad Ali Prominently Signed Limited-Edition Print in Framed Display

Boxing buffs score a knockout, with this Muhammad Ali signature display. This dynamic collectible is a captivating piece, picturing the 3X heavyweight champion in an array of photograph images, along with his professional boxing record, and some of his most famous quotes. Seen on the top border, one of the poetic prizefighter’s more fascinating quips reads “It’s just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up”. Housed in a 42-1/2” x 18-1/2” frame, this 2005 Photoramics Signature Series print is limited-edition numbered “21/200”. Ali has applied a large and in charge (“8.5”) strength signature over his well-muscled right shoulder. This blue felt-tip pen application is obviously a pre-Parkinson’s signature example, as it presents so boldly. The rich cherry finish frame could use a little touch-up on the side rails, though it does remain serviceable.
