Lot # 1825: 1960s Marvel/DC/Other Comic Books (39) with Avengers #1 Partial Comic

While condition trends towards the bottom of the scale, this small collection of (39) 1960s comic books packs considerable collecting punch. That’s thanks mainly to a partial The Avengers #1 issue, with pages 5-20 only. Strong support comes from a coverless example of Amazing Spider-Man #9 with the first appearance of Electro, Tales of Suspense #58 with Captain America’s first appearance in the title, and Daredevil #8 with the first appearance of Stilt Man. Plenty of other popular heroes are in the ranks, such as Batman, Superman, Human Torch, Doctor Strange, and Green Lantern. Rounding out this offering, are a small variety of miscellaneous titles, and a Big Little Book from 1938, which is not counted in the lot total.
