Hall of Fame hurler Herb Pennock makes a pitch for your attention, with this signed and inscribed photograph. As credited on the reverse, this 5x7 photo was issued by the Philadelphia Phillies. While serving as the Phillies GM at the time, Pennock signed this work scene photo (VG-EX) with ("8") strength, and he has included the salutation "Kind regards", and the date inscription "7/6/45". Less than three years after granting this autograph, Pennock died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1948, eleven days shy of his 54th birthday. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
